“Unwind” is a rejuvenating two-part Yin Yoga series designed to release tension and find ease in the body and mind. Yin is a slow-paced and meditative style of yoga that involves holding gentle poses for an extended duration to target the deeper connective tissues and promote relaxation and flexibility.
In Session 1, focus on opening hips and legs to cultivate freedom and mobility in the lower body. Session 2 nurtures the spine and shoulders, relieving stress and restoring posture.
Katie O'Beirne is a certified Yin Yoga instructor with over seven years of experience teaching Yin and other yoga forms. Now living and teaching yoga in Toronto at Vibe Ten Studio, Katie's teaching practice began here in Yellowknife among the Taiga Yoga community.
